My name is Elisa, and I am the author of the novella My Fur, My skin,
My scars. It’s my first book and I’m so excited to finally be able to share it
with everyone. You will find a summary of the contents on the homepage of this website.
I am so glad to have been able to work with Austin Macauley and to have been
given the opportunity to publish my book.
I intend to continue and develop my writing, as I only began to write
this book at the end of 2018, therefore I believe that there is plenty of room
for me to improve and better my skill. I will be sticking to the fantasy genre
for a while, as it’s the one I feel most comfortable working with. The freedom
to imagine any scenario that can be thought of is currently my favourite part
of writing, and I only intend to expand from now on. Throughout quarantine,
it’s been a lot more difficult to stay motivated than it would be usually, but
there’s just so much free time, sometimes writing just comes naturally, even
when you don’t feel like it.
Lastly, I’d like to share one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever
gotten when it comes to typing out an idea. Know the characters you’re writing
about, think of what or who inspired you to come up with these fictional
people, and think how you can make the scenarios themselves feel more real to
the person reading. Use real-life examples if you must, or simply if it makes
the piece better and more believable, because in the end, despite only writing
a work of fiction, you still need that element of reality for your audience to
be able to relate.
I hope you enjoy my blogs and my novella.
